Hi there. I’m Leah Benson (she/they) 👋🏻

I have a slew of experience spanning nonprofit, small business, social entrepreneurship, and tech sectors. Whether I work with you alone or build a team from my roster of community partners and collaborators, I know we’ll do great work together.

I love getting to know new people more than almost anything, so I figure I should let you get to know me a bit too. Here are some fast facts:

• I was raised in a small town in northern Wisconsin.

• I founded a bike shop called Gladys Bikes in 2012 and sold it in 2020. It was the hardest job I've ever had, and also the most rewarding.

• I love public speaking, especially of the storytelling variety.

• I have a Port-Wine Stain splashing across my right cheek and down my neck. I used to consider is a blemish, but now I think of it as a superpower. 

• I can remember what almost every single person I know was wearing the first time I met them. This has yet to prove useful in any way.

• I’ve ridden my bike across the state of Iowa. Twice.
